Chu began his WoTLK Classic Gold (p2pah.com/wow-wotlk-classic-gold.html) journey with Blizzard in 2000. when it was his job as a quality expert for World of Warcraft. In 2002. he was an assistant game designer at World of Warcraft . He quit Blizzard at the beginning of 2004. to join the local southern California studio Obsidian which was where he worked as a designer on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and World of Warcraft 2 as a designer.

Chu was back with Blizzard at the end of 2005 to serve as an experienced game designer for WoW: The Burning Crusade, World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Reaper of Souls, in addition to WoW: Warlords of Draenor. Chu later became the lead producer for World of Warcraft and its upcoming sequel World of Warcraft .
